"Sticker Mania": Buy-Rite to Market Print Club Accessories For ATLUS Co.'s "Pricla" Photo Sticker Machines

FREEHOLD, N.J. -- November 14, 1997

Buy-Rite Costume Jewelry, Inc. announced an agreement with ATLUS Dream Entertainment Co., Ltd. (ATLUS) to manufacture a line of gift accessories for its Print Club photo sticker machines. Buy-Rite will introduce these accessories in coordination with ATLUS at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Show (IAAPA '97) in Orlando, Florida on November 19-22, 1997.

"By the end of the year, ATLUS plans to deliver thousands of its photo sticker machines to U.S. locations," Dick Arth, Buy-Rite's Director of New Business Development noted. "Judging from consumer and industry demand, and our experience marketing Goosebumps(R) and other licensed products, Print Club promises to be every bit as successful in the U.S. as it is in Japan. We are pleased to join with ATLUS in introducing Print Club address books, key chains, pins, mood-cards, frames and innovative novelty items to complement its photo sticker line."

Print Club is a personalized photo sticker machine that has quickly become Japan's number one video arcade game. Introduced less than two years ago, there are now 16,000 Print Club machines in use across Japan, generating $850 million in sales, and accounting for 17% of Japan's total video arcade business.

James Takenaka, Director of Marketing of ATLUS stated, "Print Club has grown so fast we have not had time to react to the growing demand for accessories to showcase our photo stickers. We were pleased to enter into this agreement with Buy-Rite to extend the Print Club line and to offer U.S., Japanese, and other consumers a wider range of products."

Located in video arcades, shopping centers and grocery stores -- Print Club users stand in front of a machine and select a "frame" that places them in a picture with their favorite cartoon characters, television personalities, pop music and film stars or sports figures. Priced at $3-5 retail, users receive 16 attractive stickers that can be collected, traded, given as gifts, used on business cards, letters and other personal items.

"The Print Club machine has the potential become a major revenue source for U.S. retailers and family entertainment centers over the coming year," remarked Keith W. Rabin, president of KWR International, Inc., a New York City-based consulting and public relations firm, who brokered this arrangement. "Buy-Rite's accessory products builds on the exciting Print Club concept, creating auxiliary product sales and extending foot traffic into other areas within a retail location."

Buy-Rite Costume Jewelry, Inc. is a Freehold, New Jersey-based corporation specializing in the manufacture and sale of licensed accessory products to the youth market.

Representatives from Buy-Rite and ATLUS will be attending the IAAPA '97 show and will be available for interviews with interested media.
